Our Board and Train program is the most effective way to turn your dog into a calm, reliable companion. Whether you're in Austin, Dripping Springs, or the surrounding areas, we’re here to help your dog thrive through real-life, in-home training.

You want to enjoy hikes with your dog off-leash and trust their recall — even with distractions around.

This program is designed to deepen your bond with your dog and build strong communication. A well-trained dog means less stress and more freedom for your whole family.

As a certified dog trainer, I use a balanced and personalized training approach. After a thorough evaluation, your dog will stay in our home for a few weeks of immersive training focused on basic obedience, home manners, and confidence building. We begin with positive reinforcement to create a motivated learner and adjust techniques based on your dog’s unique needs.

Your dog will learn essential commands, including:

• Sit / Stay

• Down / Stay

• Leave it

• Wait at the door

• Place

• Loose leash walking

• Come (reliable recall)

Training takes place inside the home — including places like the kitchen — alongside our own dogs and cats, helping your dog develop real-life manners in a normal home setting.

We also take training into the real world, visiting dog-friendly businesses and public spaces in Austin and Dripping Springs. Practicing commands in new places helps your dog generalize behaviors and stay focused, even around distractions.

At the end of the program, you'll receive a one-hour "go-home" lesson so you can confidently continue the training at home. Plus, we include two private follow-up lessons within three months to support your success.
